Preston Super Sprint meet Level 3
On the 2nd of February 2025, a group of our swimmers travelled to Darwen to compete in Preston’s Super Sprint Level 3 meet. For many of them, this was their first ever open meet, which is an exciting milestone in their swimming journey. Despite the nerves and the new competitive environment, every single one of our 11 swimmers achieved a PB in at least one of their events!
Not only did they demonstrate incredible determination, they also brought home an impressive 7 medals! This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication they have put into training.
As a club, we couldn’t be prouder of each and every swimmer who took part. Competing at an open meet is a big step, and they all embraced the challenge with enthusiasm.
A huge well done to all our swimmers, and thank you to the coaches, parents, and supporters who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to seeing what’s next for our talented team!
